He has spent almost all his adult life writing and performing his own original songs. "He makes poetry intimate but also relevant for today"

Gerry's mission is to create a Catholic Arts industry within the Church to encourage the many talented people of all ages and arts genre. He has already published over 2000 new poets and created a mobile art exhibition, with over 350 works, launched at the Edinburgh Arts Festival. Now a Catholic Radio plus a Recording Studio from Spring 2012. In the trial week broadcast in 2010, HGUH radio attracted over 22,000 listeners.

Heart Gives Unto Heart Catholic Internet Radio will be based at St John's Seminary, Wonersh, near Guildford. It will start broadcasting in the Spring. In March we will also be opening a new recording studio there which will be available for Catholic singers, musicians and with a special welcome to parish choirs.
Over the next few weeks Gerry will be announcing another nationwide concert tour where you will have the opportunity to meet Gerry to discuss the radio station and find out how you could become involved. One of Gerry's most memorable songs is called "Imagine being Crucified"




Gerry wrote a song, "Pope Benedict is Coming", especially for the visit of Pope Benedict XVI in 2010 - Click here to watch it.


Gerry is also giving a series of concerts nationwide featuring his original songs and poetry.

His previous gigs and festival appearances have been compared to a musical mission, as his poignant lyrics and prose leave the audience thinking deeply about their Christian faith, their lives and most dramatically, thinking about how they treat other people. His views are presented musically in a wide variety of foot tapping styles to suit everybody, and involve an amazing journey of emotions from tears to laughter. "Jesus is My Friend" is one his most requested songs.
