Hertford Town Council is making available free Jubilee Street Party packs to the town's residents to encourage communities to get together over the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend 2nd - 4th June.

Hertford Town Council continues to facilitate a series of workshops at Hertford Castle to help local business and create a networking platform for entrepreneurs. The speaker at the next free event is Mark Prisk MP, Minister for Small Business.

The Town Council provides a diverse range of local services for residents in Hertford, Bengeo and Hertingfordbury village. These include responsibility for allotments at six sites, maintaining Hertford's cemetery and the closed churchyards, providing town centre CCTV cameras and the maintenance of the war memorial.

The Council runs the Town & Tourist Information Centre in the town centre, and runs a programme of community events within Hertford Castle and its grounds. The Castle is home to the Town Council, and a number of its historic rooms are available to hire for weddings, family celebrations and corporate bookings.
