Hertford Town Council is based at Hertford Castle;a civil wedding venue and rooms to hire. Family events throughout the year. The council is responsible for allotments Hertford Cemetery and the Tourist Information Centre.

Hertford Disability Support Group

Hertford Disability Support Group offer a range of support services as follows:

  • they hold monthly socials with varied entertainment and refreshments

  • they arrange outings with transport

  • they can refer people to organisations who are able to help with disability associated problems

  • they consider requests for financial help towards the purchase of aids, holidays etc.
