Councillor Mrs Brenda Haddock, Mayor of Hertford for 2010/11

The Mayor of Hertford is chosen each year by fellow town councillors, and formally installed to the office at the 'Mayor Making' ceremony in May.
The Mayor represents the town at civic occasions, as well as at events held by the town's schools, clubs and charitable organisations. From Thursday 20th May 2010 the Mayor of Hertford will be Councillor Mrs Brenda Haddock.

Each year the Mayor chooses a number of charities and raises money for them during the Mayoral year. Councillor Haddock has chosen Hertfordshire Young Carers Project and MacMillan Nurses for her charities for 20010/11
