Table Money
Members are reminded to use every effort to use only large value coins so as to ease the task of collectors and simplify banking. Coins below 10p should not be used at all.
We would also like to expand the pool of collectors particularly on Monday and Wednesday evenings - would anyone who is prepared to help please talk to Derrick or Barbara.
Directors
We have had sufficient response to our request for people to train as Directors to enable us to provide an EBU course at our club this year. It would be great to have one or two more particularly from those who play regularly on Monday or Wednesday evenings. The club pays for this tuition so why not learn a new skill. Directors and their partners pay no table money for sessions when they take charge. Please talk to Derrick or Barbara if you think you might be interested.There are events on most weekday evenings and on some mornings. Visitors are welcome at all our regular events however Trophy events are for Members only. During Autumn and Spring Terms afternoon and evening Bridge Classes are run for Beginners, Novices and Improvers. There is also a weekly Workshop for all to improve their Bridge.
